Q. I bought a "print at home" certificate, what now?
A. An email will be sent to you with the receipt for your purchase and a link to print your certificate. Log in to your sweetdeals account to print your certificate.
Q. Why aren't all the gift certificates "print at home?"
A. Some merchants like to use their own specially designed certificates.
Q. When I order a regular gift certificate, how will it come to me?
A. You may have the certificates mailed to you or you may pick them up at your local News & Review office at 1124 Del Paso Blvd., Sacramento CA 95815.
Q. My certificate won't print.
A. You need to be logged in to the sweetdeals site for your certificate to print and you must have Adobe Reader installed on your computer. Once you have logged in, you can either go back to your email receipt and then click on the print certificate link, or you can print from within the site by clicking on the words View My Account in the top right corner of the website. This will open a drop down list. Then click on Print My Certificate. If you are printing multiple gift certificates, you must close each certificate before printing the next one.
Q. Do you sell my email or info to anyone?
Q. What do I do if I attempt to use a gift certificate and the restaurant is permanently closed or does not accept my certificate?
A. Although rare, restaurants can go out of business or change owners without informing sweetdeals. If the restaurant is permanently closed or does not accept your gift certificate, please contact Customer Service Support or call us at (916)498-1234 and dial "0", Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pacific Standard Time and our Customer Service department will exchange your unused gift certificate for another equally valued certificate from the site.
Q. Where do I go for Will Call?
A. Go to your local News & Review office at 1124 Del Paso Blvd., Sacramento CA 95815, 9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Q. I'm having another problem not listed here.
A. If you're having a problem with the website, send an email to Customer Service Support. If you're having a problem with a merchant or have a question about a specific merchant gift certificate, you can contact the News & Review via email or by phone at (916)498-1234 and dial "0", 9am - 5pm Monday through Friday.
Q. Can I get a refund?
A. Unfortunately, no. All purchases of gift certificates, gift cards, tickets or print-at-home gift certificates sales are final. Our Customer Service department will exchange your unused gift certificate, gift cards, ticket or print-at-home gift certificate for another equally valued certificate from the site or provide a store credit that you can use on a future purchase. We do not provide cash refunds. Concert/Event tickets must be returned a minimum of 72 hours prior to the event date to qualify for a credit.
